Neil Cohen has more than 35 years of experience creating, building and managing brands for startups to Fortune 500 companies. Currently, he consults with companies on brand, marketing and business strategies, teaches marketing at San Francisco State University College of Business, serves as adviser to three well-funded Silicon Valley start-ups, and is Silicon-Valley Liaison and Mentor for Startup Mexico.
Clients have included Yahoo!, Pyramid Brewing, Blue Shield, Audience, Alibaba, Tapjoy, Friendster, San Francisco State University, SFO and more than 100 startups. Prior to consulting, he lead marketing and sales at one of the first B2B exchanges and the first ever media exchange that pioneered bidding on advertising, Adauction.com. He also was founder and CMO of Campsix, one of the first eBusiness incubators. Prior to that, he held executive marketing and sales positions at SEGA, Hilton, Arby’s and Zircon Corporation. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Journalism from the University of Florida, Gainesville, and a Master of Science degree in Journalism from the University of Southern California, Los Angeles.
